Chris Boeck

GENERAL COUNSEL, SILENCER SHOP

Chris Boeck is the General Counsel and Head of Compliance at Silencer Shop, the country’s largest distributor of NFA-regulated firearms. Chris also serves as a Director for the Firearm Regulatory Accountability Coalition (FRAC) and a member of the Texas Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee appointed by the Texas Supreme Court.

Prior to joining Silencer Shop, Chris was a partner at Locke Lord, a full-service Am Law 100 law firm. While with the firm, he provided commercial and regulatory guidance to clients in the firearms industry, including federally-licensed retailers, distributors, and manufacturers.

Chris is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before all federal and state courts in Texas, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. Chris has presented oral argument before each of the federal district courts in Texas as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and had the honor of sitting at counsel’s table in oral arguments before the Supreme Court when Justice Scalia sat on the bench.

Chris graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio and received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin
